Event Avenue is a Tasmanian creative event studio, working with corporate, brand, and institutional clients on events that need to deliver — from the first scope conversation through to load-out night. The work spans creative direction, full production, custom fabrication, and the ability to build an event from raw site to finished room.

What We Do
Full-service event planning, production, and creative direction. We’re at our best when the brief is layered — a corporate event in a complex venue, a brand activation in an unusual location, a function that needs to feel different from anywhere the guests have been before.
We’ve turned bare paddocks into fully-realised venues that feel like they were always meant to be there. Reframed dated town halls into molten-gold moments. Built guest walls where how people signed revealed more about workplace culture than any survey ever could.
The clients who work best with us want something more deliberate than “nice.” They want a room people are still talking about months later. They want a build that does the work the brief is actually asking.
What makes us different
Custom fabrication, in-house. Most of what you see in our spaces is built in our workshop, cast in Ecrylimer — a casting compound developed by our founder, Gabbi Murrell. Unique installations. One-off pieces, cast for the brief, made in our own materials. The pieces exist because we made them.
Build-from-paddock specialty. Outdoor sites, raw locations, places without infrastructure — we bring the logistics, production and fabrication capability to build a fully-realised venue from the ground up, then deliver the event inside it.
Senior planning and creative direction. Every project is led by Gabbi directly — three decades of event experience, full creative responsibility from first brief through to event night.
